- Lightweight yet impact-resistant
- 100% recyclable in most global recycling systems
Common Uses: Bottled beverages, salad containers, bakery packaging, cold drink cups.

2. High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE)
Key Properties:
- Strong and resistant to chemicals, moisture, and impact
- Opaque appearance
- Performs well at low temperatures (freezer-safe)
- Widely recyclable
Common Uses: Milk jugs, yogurt tubs, bottle caps, freezer containers.

3. Polypropylene (PP)
Key Properties:
- High heat resistance, microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe
- Lightweight and flexible yet durable
- Excellent fat and grease resistance
- Fully recyclable in many regions
Common Uses: Microwave containers, hot food trays, reusable cups, take-away boxes.
PoproCup Insight: PP is one of the safest and most versatile plastics, and is PoproCup’s primary material for microwave-safe and reusable containers.
4. Polystyrene (PS)

- Good insulation for hot or cold foods
- Limited recyclability

5. Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE)
